¹³ May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace^(A) as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.^(B)

¹⁰ Now Israel’s eyes were failing because of old age, and he could hardly see.^(A) So Joseph brought his sons close to him, and his father kissed them^(B) and embraced them.^(C)

¹³ And Joseph took both of them, Ephraim on his right toward Israel’s left hand and Manasseh on his left toward Israel’s right hand,^(A) and brought them close to him.

²⁰ Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved^(A) was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”)^(B)
